Abstract
In the heart of Colombia, where violence has left deep scars, stands the heroic figure of the teachers of Meta. This book is a tribute to them, to their courage, their unwavering commitment to education and their ability to transform reality through teaching. Through chronicles and poems, this work brings us closer to some of the stories of these teachers, victims of the armed, political and social conflict; they are stories that move us, that invite us to reflect on the consequences of the conflict and that inspire us to fight for a more just and peaceful world. Crónicas, memorias, conflicto y escuela is not just a book, it is an experience. It is an opportunity to listen to the voices of those who have lived through the violence, to understand the impact of the conflict on education and to value the work of teachers.
