Perhaps, as pioneer goatherds, we are just beginning to clear a path that hopefully will be traveled and consolidated by others in the Llanos, the patient work of weaving words that lead to transcend the merely landscape to narrate authentically the spirit or the human effect, to tell from tradition or from the bold experimentation the resonances of the soul: realities, dreams, fictions and hopes. This analysis is carried out from an archeological-genealogical perspective, providing a novel and critical view of how corporeality is approached in this context. From an archeological perspective, the book delves into a thorough analysis of the "archives" or documentary materials of the curriculum, the research agendas of the program's professors, the academic productivity (books, articles, records), as well as the advanced or postgraduate training of the professors. This approach makes it possible to trace the vestiges of discursive practices about the body, establishing a dialogue between past and present. On the other hand, the genealogical analysis examines the conditions that allowed discourses about the body to become institutionalized since 1998 and to become legitimized practices in teacher training. This work, then, illuminates how these discourses have influenced and continue to shape the training of Physical Education teachers at the Universidad de los Llanos.
2023-03-22T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/3 Introduction to PIC microcontroller programming 2022-11-21T09:54:11-05:00 Robinson Jiménez Moreno robinson.jimenez@unimilitar.edu.co Javier Eduardo Martínez Baquero jmartinez@unillanos.edu.co César Augusto Romero Molano cesar.romero@unillanos.edu.co
Digital systems are the basis of modern electronic equipment, where its core is centered on a microcontroller or processor. Can freedom end up being such an uncomfortable problem for someone that they shy away from it, and am I not free if I choose to live under the submission or control of another? What role do relativism, chance, imperfectibility, subjectivity, necessity and ignorance play in the very nature of freedom? Is there no place to be free in a world commanded by biological, social, cultural, political, economic, linguistic, technological, educational, legal, geographical, physical, historical, moral, etc. factors? To what extent have millions of human beings been deprived of their bodies, conscious and unconscious of their slavery? What are the implications of the freedoms of teaching, of worship, of expression... in their ethical behavior? How free am I?...? And other problems that the reader has encountered in the uneven postural geography presented by the phenomenon of freedom, trying to find some clear ones that will allow him to contribute to its understanding. Therefore, it is a profuse, intricate and multidimensional reality that presupposed a critical prism that congregates several reflective glances in a logic of synthesis and complexity, thus configuring this discursive structure in a journey that hopes to promote other levels of depth and routes of exploration.
2018-05-20T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2018 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/19 Bodies without souls. Bodies without God 2023-06-08T13:38:02-05:00 Héctor de León Bedoya Leguizamón hbedoya@unillanos.edu.co
Undoubtedly, the multidirectional phenomenon of education affects the body in countless planes, moments and places. But religious education is perhaps the most powerful influence to which humans have been exposed since time immemorial and from childhood, which has transformed their conscience, convictions and ways of living together to unsuspected limits.

And even though this area of study may seem very strange in physical education, given the widespread sports-oriented and schooled notion of it, as well as the reductionist perception of the body, this essay seeks to defend its academic-scientific legitimacy by approaching the catechized bodies. To this end, several questions are explored: to what extent has Christianity penetrated corporeality when it comes to evangelizing the being, its freedom, environment, worldview and meaning of life? To what extent has the Judeo-Christian ethical system permeated, molded and led the body (in the broadest and highest sense of the word)? What role did Christianity and the Catholic Church play in the history of slavery? How much weight have their verses and precepts had on the sexual dimension of their faithful? How have their stories of souls, gods, saints, heavens and hells, taken for unobjectionable and untouchable, had an impact on decorporealization? How and why were they conceived? What motives are hidden behind them all? And, of course, what reasons have the unbelievers had for not considering the dogmas of the Churches in the formation of their identities and their projects without fear of condemnation? What notion of the body (life, death, happiness...) do they have? What are their ethics?
2018-05-08T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2023 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/42 Wet before use 2023-12-06T11:15:28-05:00 Carlos Enrique Pachón García editorialunillanos@unillanos.edu.co
Mójese antes de usar is a posthumous novel by poet and friend Carlos Pachón. It narrates the wanderings and occurrences of a young writer in the city of Villavicencio in the 80s and 90s. With an urban and informal language, but full of poetic and literary images, Pachón reveals another face of the territory of the plains beyond the landscape, and puts in the center of the panorama a human being writer who seeks to survive the tedium of his daily life through his letters.
2018-03-18T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2018 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/22 "Sport, Social Inclusion, and Community Experiences in Latin America" 2023-06-27T09:27:36-05:00 Claudia Maritza Guzmán Ariza cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Juan Pablo Zebadúa Carbonell jpcarboney@gmail.com Luis Alberto Rivera cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Ángel Cabrera Baz cabagelo@yahoo.com.mx John Alexander Cárdenas-González john.udec2014@hotmail.com Hernando Alexis Casallas Torres investigacionsocialudec@gmail.com Facundo Martín Herrera Buenanueva cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Marcelo Emir Villanueva cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Elkin González Ulloa elkin.gonzalez@unillanos.edu.co Alejo Levoratti cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Daniel Zambaglione cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Marco Maiori cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Álvaro Alejandro Arenas Gómez cguzman@unillanos.edu.co Celso Enrique Gómez Chacón cguzman@unillanos.edu.co
Thirteen Latin American authors came together to create Deporte, inclusión social y experiencias comunitarias en América Latina, a work that compiles the work of teachers and researchers who, from their own territories, have discovered how sport can contribute to change in society. Each chapter covers different experiences where the most important actors are the State, as the guarantor of rights; the physical education teacher, as the executor of policies and responsible for practices that contribute to the development of a community; and physical activity, as an instrument to generate various inclusion initiatives. The book offers an overview of the different realities of countries such as Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Cuba, discussed at the third Latin American and Caribbean Conference on Social Sports and Recreation for Inclusion, with the aim of maintaining a permanent reflection and openness to academic dialogue on sports.
2016-12-10T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2016 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/27 Informal economy in Villavicencio with a neo-structuralist approach 2023-07-19T12:25:31-05:00 Astrid León Camargo aleonc@unillanos.edu.co Hugo Germán Caicedo Mora hcaicedo@unillanos.edu.co
In the city of Villavicencio, nearly half of the employed labor force belongs to the informal sector. From street vendors to workers who do not comply with the minimum labor rights are the most evident face of a problem, which has its own dynamics of an economy that has not been able to respond to the challenge of informality. However, in spite of the fact that different governments have tried to implement policies to face this situation, the actions have not been efficient because they are temporary measures of a police type that do not help to mitigate the growth of informality. Thus, the authors propose a different approach to understand this phenomenon and provide a perspective that facilitates the dimensioning of the behavior of informality from a neo-structuralist viewpoint.
2016-10-24T00:00:00-05:00 Copyright (c) 2016 Editorial Universidad de los Llanos https://unillanos.metalibros.org/index.php/editorial-unillanos/catalog/book/37 From protest to revolution: social movements in the economic and social construction of Colombia. 2023-11-27T12:02:36-05:00 Omar Rey Anacona reyomar37@gmail.com
From Protest to Revolution presents an approach from economics on social movements to show the similarities and differences with respect to the approaches and contents of other social sciences. Although this disease was declared by the WHO as a public health problem and the actions taken have helped to reduce its spread, leprosy is still present in the 21st century.

Untimely access to adequate care and the current belief that the disease has disappeared have led to an alarming number of cases in Colombia.

Disability prevention is key to diminish the effects of the disease.

Exercises for the prevention of disability in people affected by leprosy (PAL) presents a scheme of exercises based on Orem's self-care theory.
