Abstract
The book you have in your hands is born from the desire to share what I have learned with so much interest and affection in several years of work and transmit to my students in the course of Aromatic, Medicinal and Condimentary Plants (PAMC) in the Agronomic Engineering Program of the Universidad de los Llanos. I am always enthusiastic about teaching those who want to learn and who can enjoy the satisfaction of knowing how to plant, harvest and take advantage of the plants that interest them. In this book I deal, in the simplest and clearest way, without ceasing to be technical and with the support of a large number of my own photographs, the most important aspects of 14 plant species, such as the flower of Jamaica, delicious drink, sweet and wine; turmeric, beautiful pigment and great medicine; ginger, exquisite spicy citrus flavor; the soon relief, for the placid digestion; rosemary, of strong imprint; basil, soft digestive condiment; coca, which is rest and medicine; lemongrass, relaxing flavor and aroma; citronella, great repellent and air freshener; chili, delicious companion; annatto, colorful pigment; bore, great protein content; aloe vera, of great contribution to beauty; and moringa, a good nutritional supplement. We hope to open readers' minds to the possibilities; there is much to do and learn.
